Mercedes-Benz G 350 d with AMG G 63 styling and diesel engine

This 2020 Mercedes-Benz G 350 d is tuned to mimic an AMG G 63 with visual upgrades, offering a diesel-powered, fuel-efficient SUV with a bold look. For sale in Dubai at 88,000 euros.

At first glance, this Mercedes-Benz G-Class could easily be mistaken for a full-fledged AMG G 63, especially one modified by Brabus. Yet behind its aggressive appearance lies a far more modest version: the diesel-powered G 350 d, which isn't officially sold in the U.S. market.

Under the hood sits a 2.9-liter inline-six diesel engine that meets Euro 6d-TEMP emissions standards. In stock form, it produces 286 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque, paired with a nine-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. This G-Class accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and can reach up to 200 km/h, while remaining the most fuel-efficient option in the lineup. This particular example has undergone light tuning and, according to the seller, now makes around 320 horsepower.

The focus here is on visual impact: a new hood, a Panamericana-style grille, flared wheel arches, revised bumpers, side skirts, additional roof-mounted lights, a spoiler, a spare-wheel carrier with a Brabus logo, and larger-diameter wheels. The interior has also been reworked, featuring plenty of orange leather and signature accents. This 2020 model, with approximately 60,000 kilometers on the odometer, is listed for sale in Dubai at 88,000 euros.

Essentially, this is a G-Class for those who want the look of an AMG without the top-tier performance or a gasoline V8. This build highlights how far the cult of appearance can go: visually, it's a G 63; in character, it's a sensible diesel SUV.
