Smart has officially unveiled a special edition of its compact crossover, the Genie #3 Keith Haring Art Special Edition. The model launched on January 24, with only 99 units allocated for the Chinese market. Globally, the art series is limited to 1,000 cars, making it a collectible from the start.

This limited edition pays tribute to the famous artist Keith Haring and marks Smart's 57th collaboration with figures from the art and fashion worlds. Externally, the vehicle features 12 exclusive design elements, including Smart x Keith Haring logos on the front lid, door panels, and wheel rims. It also rides on unique 19-inch Art Storm wheels with 245/45 R19 tires.

Inside, the artistic theme continues with joint branding on seat headrests, the central display, and door sills. The matte pattern on the panoramic roof and footwell design draw inspiration from Haring's classic works. A standout detail is the colored seatbelts, which enhance the feeling of a vibrant design piece rather than a typical urban SUV.

Technically, there are no changes. The Smart #3 Keith Haring Art is based on the extended-range, rear-wheel-drive version. Its electric motor delivers 200 kW and 343 Nm, while the 66 kWh traction battery provides up to 555 km of range under the CLTC cycle. Smart is focusing not on mechanical upgrades but on emotion, design, and exclusivity, transforming the electric crossover into a full-fledged art object for city life.

Smart continues to play in the niche of designer electric vehicles, and such projects boost its image more effectively than any advertising. With such a limited run, the Keith Haring Edition is almost certain to become a collector's item in the coming years.
