KGM starts deliveries of new Musso pickup truck

KGM has begun delivering the new Musso pickup, with the first vehicle handed to a customer in Korea. Learn about its features, prices, and practical uses.

KG Mobility (KGM) has announced the start of deliveries for its new Musso pickup truck, handing over the first vehicle to a customer. The ceremony took place on January 19 at the KGM Experience Center in Ilsan.

The first owner is a 45-year-old entrepreneur from Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, who works in manufacturing. He explained that he chose the Musso for its practicality, noting that he needs a pickup for frequent site visits and cargo transport. He specifically highlighted the spacious cargo bed and the ability to keep odorous items separate from the cabin. The buyer also plans to use the vehicle for leisure and outdoor trips.

The delivered vehicle is a top-tier Musso M9 with all-wheel drive, a diesel engine, and the Grand Style package. To mark the occasion, KGM presented the customer with a welcome kit and a fuel gift certificate.

The Musso was unveiled on January 5. It features an off-road body design, a payload capacity of up to 700 kg, an enhanced suite of safety systems, and comfort features typical of mid-size SUVs. In Korea, prices start from 29.9 million won for the 2.0-liter gasoline version and 31.7 million won for the 2.2-liter diesel (2WD, standard body).
