Dacia launches 6 new models in 2026 including hybrids and EVs

Dacia plans six new models for 2026, featuring affordable EVs, hybrid Sandero, and 4x4 hybrid Duster and Bigster. Explore the brand's expansion.

Following a successful 2025, Dacia is gearing up for its busiest product year ever in 2026. The brand will launch six new models, strengthening its position in the affordable hybrid and electric vehicle segments.

New Spring Models: A Facelift and a Next-Generation EV

First up is the updated Spring. This model will feature an improved suspension, more powerful motors, and a new LFP battery. Dacia aims to maintain demand for the current version while preparing a new generation of affordable EVs priced under €18,000.

The second Spring, codenamed Springo, will be wider and more stable, with a range exceeding 250 km. European production will help the brand avoid import tariffs and qualify for incentives under new EU regulations.

Hybrid Sandero and Expansion into the C-Segment

The hybrid Sandero will complete the electrification of Dacia's lineup. It will debut in 2026 with a Hybrid 155 system, capable of running on electric power up to 60% of the time in city driving.

At the same time, Dacia is moving into the large estate segment. A model codenamed C-Neo will share a platform with the Bigster, offering an alternative to traditional family cars on the European market.

Hybrid 4x4 for Duster and Bigster

A key addition will be the launch of all-wheel-drive hybrid versions for the Duster and Bigster. A new setup with an electric motor on the rear axle will provide 4x4 capability without mechanical transmissions, reducing emissions and improving handling both on and off-road. For northern markets, this is a strategically important move that broadens the appeal of these models.
