Bugatti unveils new one-off hypercar tribute in Programme Solitaire
Bugatti confirms a new one-off custom vehicle in Programme Solitaire, debuting January 22 as a tribute to a historic hypercar with W16 engine and $20 million value.
Bugatti has confirmed the completion of its next Programme Solitaire project — a series of one-off custom vehicles. Based on a teaser, this new unique model will debut on January 22, and all signs point to it being a tribute to one of the brand's most significant hypercars.
Programme Solitaire serves as Bugatti's modern coachbuilding division. There are no configurators, option packages, or production runs here: each car is built for a single client. The first such project was the Brouillard, based on the contemporary hypercar platform with a twin-turbo W16 engine and a long-tail body. The new car is described as a unique monument to a legend, clearly referencing a historic model.
The teaser reveals the recognizable W16, indicating a technical base similar to the Brouillard. We can expect around 1,600 horsepower and extensive body customization, including unique panels and exclusive finishes.
Insider reports confirm the car is valued at approximately $20 million and draws inspiration from the Veyron — the hypercar that revolutionized the industry in the 2000s with 1,001 horsepower and speeds over 400 km/h.
Bugatti is steadily strengthening its ultra-exclusive vehicle segment, where demand remains stable despite economic turbulence. Creating a Veyron tribute makes perfect sense: the model fits seamlessly into the automotive art concept that underpins Solitaire.
