Porsche 911 S/T Funky Minty: exclusive Sonderwunsch customization

Explore the Porsche 911 S/T Funky Minty, a one-of-a-kind Sonderwunsch custom car for Italian designer Luca Trazzi, featuring mint color and rare specs.

The Sonderwunsch program remains Porsche's pinnacle of personalization, where clients receive not just rare specifications, but a one-of-a-kind vehicle. The latest example is the Porsche 911 S/T Funky Minty, created for Italian designer and collector Luca Trazzi.

Foundation: The Rare Porsche 911 S/T

This project is based on the Porsche 911 S/T, one of the most coveted modern 911s. This version was produced in a limited run of just 1,963 units and is focused on maximum driver engagement. The car is equipped with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine, a manual transmission, and a lightweight chassis without excessive electronics.

Exterior and Interior Without Limits

The Sonderwunsch team finished the body in a unique mint color with contrasting white accents on the bumpers, roof, mirrors, door handles, and center-lock wheels. The theme continues inside: mint elements appear on the dashboard, steering wheel, doors, gear lever, and carbon-fiber bucket seats. A special illuminated plaque with the S/T Funky Minty inscription underscores its one-off status.

Porsche's Strategy

For Luca Trazzi, this isn't his first Sonderwunsch project—he previously commissioned unique versions of the 911 Dakar and Speedster. For Porsche, such vehicles are a key part of the brand's strategy: factory customization not only boosts profitability but also creates new collectible value. Against this backdrop, where standard 911 S/T models already trade well above their recommended prices, these projects elevate the brand's exclusivity to an even higher level.

The Porsche 911 S/T Funky Minty vividly demonstrates how the Sonderwunsch program transforms rare production models into full-fledged art objects. For the brand, it's a tool for strengthening image and profits, while for collectors, it's a way to acquire a car guaranteed to remain unique.
